Advertising designs: Ticketpro

Ticketpro is a world leading provider of ticketing services for different events such as music concerts, sports games, theatre performances, etc. From the beginning of 2008 Ralev.com is the official graphic design studio for Ticketpro Europe. Since then we’ve designed various advertising materials for this client.

Ticketpro is one of the sponsors of the International Live Music Conference called ILMC. ILMC is an annual event and every year the organizers choose a special topic. Ads are usually published in IQ - the IMLC Journal.
The outdoor advertisement
This concept of outdoor advertisement was created for Ticketpro Czech Republic. The picture above is the final version which they selected to use for their campaign. The project is very interesting from a design perspective. We solved one of the main brand issues in the conventional advertising in a creative way, namely “How to use the logo as bigger as possible without harming the rest of the design “.

Since the client’s main business is selling tickets for all sorts of events ( sports, cultural, etc. ). The main point of their services is that people buy tickets to go and see these events live, i.e. with their own eyes. So one thing led to another and while playing with the logo the final concept was ready. Of course – as every good design – this concept could be used and multiplied on various media – t-shirts, brochures, web banners, tv commercials, etc.
The 2008 ILMC brochure ad design
This is the brochure design we created for the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) 2008 as an advertising material. The final material was supposed to present the products, services and mission of Ticketpro. The brochure is inspired by a magazine advertisement we previously designed for Ticketpro. We are talking about a vector graphic of a globe in a sky, full of stars. It serves to illustrate that Ticketpro is a global company operating in many countries around the world.
We have also created the slogan “You have the stars, we have the crowd” which is targeted mostly towards the managers and producers.
For this fan book brochure we used 4-color process print on 300 gr glossy paper. It’s 1/3 of an A4 size which is defined by the size of Ticketpro tickets – inside the brochure are included examples of  Ticketpro tickets from past events.
The 2009 ILMC ad design
This is our A4 size magazine ad design for Ticketpro, created for publishing in the famous IQ magazine. The main idea of the design is to represent the side of Ticketpro as an international company. This is achieved by designing a “multiple choice question” type of quiz with answers that appear to be different, but are actually the same – just written in different languages. The hint is in the arrow-shaped cursor which points towards the correct answer. The cursor also suggests that the quiz is done online and therefore speaks of the web nature of the services Ticketpro provides.
The 2010 ILMC ad design
In 2010 there was a maritime theme for the International Live Music Conference. Based on this we decided to depict the famous Titanic (even with its fourth smoke stack (funnel) being there but not working as was the case). In this ad Ticketpro is represented as the powerful torpedo underwater.
The 2011 ILMC ad design
The 2011 topic was “The land that time forgot”. We had the task to design a print advertisement for Ticketpro on this topic. We had various funny ideas for the magazine ad design but this is the one that won. The design shows two guys walking in the Lascaux cave and finding an old cave painting representing the ticket evolution. A careful look will show that the paintings are “signed” by Ticketpro on the side. A funny way to express that Ticketpro is always one step ahead in providing the newest technologies in the ticketing business.
